Tuesday's new skill, a little bit of Origami.

So today we are going to have a go at some origami. This is the beautiful ancient Japanese art of paper folding to make models. Now it takes years of practise, getting better and better, being a real Proudosaur, but I have found a little origami project that we can all do. I have sent you a link to the video on Youtube:

this will tell you how to make the fish. There are some pictures of me learning and following the video and then you can watch me having a go too! I have also included some fabulous pictures of Origami done by other people who have been practising for a very long time (so don't ask mum and dad to make something very complicated) but it gives you an idea of what you could make eventually. Just have fun at learning something new....and remember our learning dinosaurs. I have made my own little shoal of fish, you can go on to decorate them if you would like to....maybe like the Rainbow Fish? Or you could hang them to make a swimming fish mobile. Do whatever you heart desires, just have fun.
